This contract is intended to provide quick response to repair/restoration, and
minor construction requirements relating to, but not limited to, the architectural, structural,
mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, security and safety areas of US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) medical facilities in a cost effective manner. MEDCOM medical facility repair and minor construction shall conform as applicable to the requirements of the Joint Commission, Management of the Environment of Care Standards and Life Safety Management Standards; the Department of Health and Human Services - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; the College of American Pathologists; the Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine (CHPPM); and the American Association Accreditation Laboratory Animal Care.
